Software Support

The software support offered by Northwest Numerics and Modeling, Inc. extends beyond simply setting up the code. We are able to provide backup, at what ever level, to ensure that you can carry out your FEA calculations effectively and at a higher level than before. Therefore, we offer a variety of solutions to enable you to advance the quality of your internal modeling capabilities.

Regular Updates

Due to the ongoing development of the software, we provide regular updates to give our customers benefit of state-of-the-art technology introduced within the package. These developments are the result of active research in the applied mechanics, mathematics and materials modeling fields being carried out at the ENSMP, Zetra System and Northwest Numerics and Modeling. All updates are supplied with accompanying verification and tests

The development of new functionality in Zebulon is led by users requests. Each installation site is able to guide development to satisfy their particular needs.

Training

Northwest Numerics and Modeling provides training courses in the use and application of finite element analysis to engineering problems from an introductory level through to state of the art applications. We are experienced in providing training at both a practical level for industrial engineers and at an academic level as part of a graduate/post-graduate course.

Development of User Functions

Frequently users find that they have special problems which are not contained in the standard options of a code, and cannot make additions ina cost effective way. We specialize in custom development of such functions within ZeBuLoN, both on a research-development and final implementation level.

The degree of extendibility offered by ZeBuLoN allows the incorporation of novel component materials behavior. The inclusion of a pre-processing utility,ZebFront, gives the user the ability to "prototype" complex materials behavior in a much faster and simplified manor than that found with any other FEA package. Example code is available for a diverse set of models at the resource page.
